What is Lipo Caviation? How does Lipo Caviation work?
Ultrasonic cavitation lipo is a minimally invasive alternative to surgical liposuction that uses ultrasonic waves to turn fat cells into free fatty acids, which are easier for the body to get rid of. The midsection, upper arms, thighs, hips, and chin area can be targeted with these low-frequency ultrasound waves, which penetrate the skin and create bubbles around fat deposits. The bubbles then cause fat deposit cells to burst, causing the body to get rid of fat naturally through the urinary tract and lymphatic system. The ultrasonic cavitation creates these bubbles in the liquid that surround the fat cells, which gradually grow, and implode. As the membranes of fat cells do not have the structural capacity to withstand the vibrations, the effect of ultrasonic cavitation easily breaks them, while sparing the vascular, nervous and muscular tissue.

What areas can be treated with lipo cavitation?
Any part of the body that has stubborn fat. Stomach, lower back, legs, buttocks, arms, love handles, hips, thighs.

Is Lipo Cavitation safe?
Yes, ultrasonic cavitation lipo is a painless treatment. Mild redness or bruising may appear occasionally but will be highly unlikely to cause any actual pain. The heat from the hand pieces felt during the treatment is perfectly tolerable. This treatment is a nonsurgical procedure without anesthesia – it’s non-invasive and no downtime should be experienced after the treatment.

Does this treatment replace diet and exercise?
No, in order to achieve the best results, our treatments must be done in combination with proper diet and exercise.

How many sessions are needed to achieve results?
As with any body contouring treatment, results vary based on each individual and their diet/fitness routine. We recommend 6-15 treatments, although many experience results in as little 2 treatments. It is imperative to maintain a proper diet and fitness regimen in order to achieve and maintain optimal results.

How long is each session?
The length of each session will be 45 mins per treated area.

Are there any side effects associated with this treatment?
Short term effects can include mild bruising and redness. The only discomfort during the treatment is the buzzing that you will experience in your ears with the cavitation machine. The buzzing or ringing sound will normally stop when the cavitation part of the service is over however, some experience a faint buzzing or ringing after the treatment up to 24 hours but nothing painful from this service. If you have any concerns, please be sure to ask your contouring specialist during your consultation.

Any guidelines to follow before and after the Lipo Cavitation treatments?
To make your treatments more effective, please be sure to drink plenty of water the whole time during your treatments series. It is important however, that you make sure to drink at least 1.5 liters before and after each treatment. This will help the liver and lymphatic system remove the fat. To also help the process of eliminating fat, we recommend 20-30 minutes of light cardio after your sessions like walking to stimulate the lymphatic and urinary systems. Please refrain from any alcohol consumption for 2-3 days after your treatments. Alcohol can prevent your liver from working to remove fats as it will make alcohol metabolism its priority before fat removal and could hinder your results. Alcohol is treated like sugar and your body will convert it into fat.

Why you shouldn’t drink alcohol:
Caffeine is a stimulant and alcohol a depressor, but the most important thing is that they dehydrate the skin and deplete vital nutrients; alcohol also causes facial blood vessels to dilate. Alcohol can aggravate rosacea and psoriasis outbreaks. So if your goal is to take good care of your skin, and overall body avoid the excess in those substances. No tanning during treatment series! Tanning will cause you to be overly sensitive to the ultrasonic and RF treatments. Do not have a heavy meal 2 hours prior to the sessions. Do not binge eat or fast! No caffeine or carbonated drinks 3-4 hours prior to the sessions and 24 hours after the sessions. No hot showers, baths or sauna straight after treatments Follow a low-calorie diet Keep your skin hydrated and moisturized.

How do IV drips work?
Intravenous (IV) fluid drips deliver saline solution through a small catheter and tubing directly into the bloodstream. This solution usually includes medications and vitamin supplements that are tailored to the individual patient.

During therapy, the nurse inserts an IV line which is attached to a bag of saline solution. The bag is then hung above the patient’s head. IV therapy bags are designed to let gravity, as opposed to a syringe or other forced technique, carry fluid into the veins over time.

The duration of a single treatment varies from person to person, but typically lasts 30 – 45 minutes.
